“I left Greece 19 august 2019 of the year and flew to the St. Petersburg airport, in which rain and wind surrounded me!!! After great difficulties, I managed to get on the bus and go to Pskov, where did I arrive via 7 hours!!!!! Entering Pskov, me, on the contrary, surrounded by sun and flowers! As if I'm in another country!!! I liked this place at first sight!!! Then the university itself sent me a girl, so she can help, what i needed (this university initiative is very important !!!), and gradually I got to know the city. Endless sky, not hidden by tall buildings or mountains and quiet walks through the streets!!! Additionally, I was able to visit the Pskov-Pechersky Monastery, excursion, which I want to repeat!!!
I started studying Russian back in Greece, but, of course, when I arrived in Russia, I was even afraid to say “good morning”!!! But our teachers encouraged us to speak, and I was slowly freed from fear! Thank them for that! Russian language is difficult, but with love everything is possible !!
Pskov is my home! I have friends and people there, whom I love !!! There I met my sister-friend Anna Vladimirova, with whom I continue to communicate in St. Petersburg! International students of the university created a welcoming atmosphere; especially Abdul Nasseri, my dear friend!!! Generally, I really liked this place, I became very close to some of my teachers, and I had an unforgettable time! Pskov - a miracle of Russia!! I'm happy, that I started my acquaintance in Russia here!!!!”
“At the beginning, I saw #Pskov, calm, beautiful city. It was very clean around, everything seemed interesting to me. I liked it so much, immediately 2 years later, I decided to go back there. I came again. Everyone was kind to me, helped, when it was necessary. Actually, I never had any problems there.
Education at Pskov State University went well, to my mind, the Russian language learning program was quite interesting. We studied the language, Russian culture, the story, geography and literature. May be, Russian is not the easiest language, especially for Spanish speakers, but it seemed to me, that the program helped me quickly overcome all difficulties, I began to understand the language. Surprised me, that Pskov is a multicultural city, where you can meet people from all over the world. Even if you are interested in the culture of other countries, you can learn a lot here. In the lesson we discussed life in other countries, their culture, customs.
I miss Pskov every day, by your friends and acquaintances. I would go back, if there was such a chance. My time there was great, and I'm sure, that I have improved my Russian a lot. To be honest, feelings for it all, to the city, to people, hard to describe in words. Only my memory and my recollections allow me to judge this correctly.”
