TORFL (Test of Russian as a Foreign Language) is a state testing system, which is the most authoritative way of confirming the level of proficiency in Russian as a foreign language.
The system is developed with a focus on the Common European Framework of References (CEFR) and allows you to confirm proficiency in Russian at one of six international levels from A1 to C2.
TORFL certificates are recognized in the vast majority of foreign countries and can be used as a document, confirming proficiency in Russian, everywhere: from employment in any country in the world to entry into the citizenship of the Russian Federation.
Moreover, many Russian universities accept TORFL certificate instead of the entrance exam in Russian or give holders of the certificate additional points in the ranking of applicants, which increases their chances of admission.

Pskov State University is one of the few universities in the Russian Federation, authorized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation to conduct TORFL.
